Glen Mills soccer team wins league sportsmanship award

     At the Towne House Restaurant in Media, the Glen Mills soccer team received the Del Val League Sportsmanship Award on May 30th at the DVAA Sportsmanship Luncheon.
     “Sportsmanship means a lot to us as coaches at Glen Mills and we try to instill those values into our student/athletes,” Glen Mills soccer coach Bryan Confer said. “We are pleased that our team was recognized for displaying good sportsmanship throughout the season.”
     Confer and players Rene Roll and Michael Lockhart represented the soccer team at the luncheon.
     Additionally, a student/athlete from each school earned an Agnes Mag Patterson Award for best exemplifying good sportsmanship. Kain Bristol, who was on the football, volleyball, powerlifting teams, earned the award for Glen Mills.
