Bulls win raw division in Pennsylvania Teenage State Powerlifting Meet

     The Glen Mills powerlifting team claimed the raw division at the Teenage State Powerlifting Meet at Parkland High School on February 24th. Eleven Glen Mills student/athletes earned first place in their weight class and age group divisions while the Bulls were also well represented among the third and fourth place finishers.
     Kylil Barnes, who earned an individual state crown in the 114 pound, 16-17 age group, was proud of his accomplishment.
     “It feels really good,” Barnes said. “All my hard work paid off and now myself and my teammates are gearing up for the national meet.”
     The Battling Bulls will compete at the USA Powerlifting High School Nationals from March 23-26 in Appleton, Wisconsin.
